UroLift BPH Treatment in Nashville, TN
An important part of overall health maintenance for men is monitoring and taking care of their prostate. At Nashville Men's Health, Dr. Matthew Pollard can help men throughout the Nashville area and Middle Tennessee maintain optimal prostate health by treating a number of conditions including BPH, or benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Providing the Full Spectrum of Enlarged Prostate Care
Treatment for BPH is based on how mild or severe the symptoms are and whether the patient is dealing with any complications. Mild symptoms are generally treated with lifestyle alterations and frequent checkups to keep an eye on symptoms. More moderate symptoms are addressed with lifestyle changes as well and the addition of prescribed medications. If symptoms are serious, medications are more frequently used or therapies including minimally invasive treatment can be employed if the symptoms have not responded to the other treatments. These surgical specialties are minimally invasive, and wherever possible, areperformed as same-day outpatient procedures.
Board Certified Urologsit and fellowship trained Matthew Pollard, MD, of Nashville Men's Health offers the UroLift System to men suffering from bothersome symptoms of BPH, such as frequent urination, the persistent need to urinate, and urination at night. Tennessee men who have undergone the UroLift procedure for an enlarged prostate report feeling better than they have in years.
